Next gen BMW 340i will not have a manual. In fact, no G20 BMW 3 series will have a manual. The only manual BMW in the United States will likely be the M3 or M4 and possibly the 4 series (maybe).

Well this review states that only the 2.0t manual was louder. She said the 3.3t model was definitely quieter. Also, I think harshness is something that was intentionally put in there for a “sportier” ride. Maybe they want to drive like older BMWs and not like the newer softy BMWs.

I just have the one 3 year old, but I know how you feel since we do have to use the second seat for a niece or nephew. You can actually start using a booster seat at 4 years old. They make ones with backs that use the car seatbelts and they’re much thinner/lighter than regular car seats.

Most rear seats are very easy to remove. Many bottom cushions simply pop off or only require one or two bolts to take off. Most top cushions only need a couple bolts to pop off. LATCH anchors stay on the seat so you could probably do this now with most coupes and sedans.
