While their cars are cool, I also think something similar. McLaren isn’t building a pedigree or historic models. They’re just churning out small updates and giving the car a new model name. Worst of all, the model names are just random numbers and letters that generally don’t have too much to do with the performance.

McLaren does use an old Nissan V8 though. Renault and Nissan are the same company, aren’t they?

If it’s no good just donate to a local college fraternity. I’m sure they’d be glad to distribute it to needy students.

I was really just going off on a tangent about the potential for bankruptcy if you’re found at fault for damaging someone else’s expensive car. I wasn’t specifically talking about this particular case. It was more of a hypothetical.

I’m not saying you’re racist, not at all. But being Latino doesn’t mean anything. Minorities are just as racist as white people in America. I’ve met plenty of Latinos that hate black people and Asian people (and white people). Again, I’m honestly not saying you are racist, I’m just saying it doesn’t mean anything that

I think the main point here is that Schnatter was excusing his questionable behavior by comparing himself to someone else. First of all, it doesn’t matter what Colonel Sanders did; nothing he did excuses what Schnatter did.

Well that’s basically what the difference between a conservative and progressive. Conservatives don’t want change, progressive want continual advancement.

Yes in most states that is legal. What’s scary is that the minimum liability coverage in CA is only $5000 for property damage and $15k/$30k for bodily injury (per person/per accident limits).

Well insurance company profits are about 5%. Not really a huge margin. Auto insurance is a very competitive market these days. I don’t think there’s much room for any major insurance company to really rip you off.

Who cares about the repair bill? The point is, if you wreck a brand new Ferrari, whether they decide to repair it or replace it, you’re going to have to pay out $200,000 somehow.

All due respect, there are major changes physically to the cars. First look at the rear quarter panel and the super wide flares. It looks like a Jaguar back there. Then look at the front fenders. They’re obviously very different pieces. The front fascia is much more modern. Even the hood extends all theway to the

Immigration laws were heavily enforced under Obama. It’s not like most reasonable democrats don’t want to enforce immigration laws. That’s simply not the case, and is a straw man argument made up by right wingers. Of course you’re going to find extreme liberals that talk about stuff like that, but you’ll also find

Uh, this is exactly what BMW did with the last 8 series in 1989. They cut the 6 series in 1989 and made the 8 which was more powerful and expensive. That’s what has happened here. The M850i also comes with a LOT of standard features that usually doesn’t come available on the 6 series. So the cost increase is somewhat

If you cause $200,000 worth of damage to a car, the victim’s insurance company will pay to fix the Lamborghini and then will come after the you to collect their money.

If you’re a financially responsible person with a decent job and saving up for your child’s college, a home, etc. having to declare bankruptcy is life ruining in a country like America. It’s all relative I know. It’s not like you’re going to jail. But you have to massively downgrade your life and it’ll likely affect

Seriously though, if that Mustang owner is found at fault and only has the minimum amount of insurance coverage, there’s a chance they’ll be sued for the remainder of the bill. Cheaping out on insurance (which a very large number of people do) and hitting a $250k+ car can be financially debilitating.

I had it for 3 years. It was the 2011 G37S 6MT. I drove it about 13k miles per year. For about two years I had a 2 hour roundtrip commute and I ended up loving that car. The stick I thought was OK. What I didn’t like was the clutch with its high and numb uptake.

The G37 was a real sport sedan. When the G35 debuted it was considered the closest thing to a BMW 3 series to ever come out of Japan. It had great steering and suspension tuning. Comfy and sport all at the same time. That’s why the new Q50 is such a disappointment. The Q50 is how you describe, a luxury muscle car.

It’s too close to a Lexus GS though. I mean, they’re not really close, in a strict sense, but the Chaser is a mid sized RWD sport sedan. The GS is a little bigger and more luxurious, but no luxury carmaker can justify having two mid size sedans in its lineup.
