I love the idea of doing local price comparison. In India, there are so many online book, mobile stores that give huge discounts. But as the number of stores increase, its almost impossible to track the price changes and get lowest prices - sure, there are excellent tools like :[cheapr.me,] but no tool goes to this

I want a software with the following functionality: 1: Put the disc in the drive and the software scans the data and catalogs it. 2: Should be able to read Hard-disks(internal and external) and should be able to catalog them too. 3: Should be able to refresh the catalog if new files are added to the already scanned

I think this is my last comment on Lifehacker...this is so lame...Even if Google farts, Lifehacker will go ga-ga over it. This is a shame. I can not read Lifehacker anymore. Wish you very best in your Google-fart pursuit.

This is sweet. Can you share the Samurize conf ? How did you change the winamp icons ? there are so many questions...oh !

I want a software with the following functionality:

Camel CD Catalog is a paid software, anyone knows a similar freeware ?

I want something that can read my harddrive/CD/DVDs and create a catalog. Mediaman does not do that it seems or am I missing something ?

uTorrent and PeerGuardian. Can anyone suggest any good tool to protect my IP ?

Google Outlook Sync simply does NOT work. period.

Cons :

Hi,

I think Google Desktop is a bloatware. 2 Gigs of search index is just ridiculous. I recently switched to Copernic but I am yet to check its memory footprint. Launchy is the current favorite

Any port to WinXP ? [the-geek.in]

I am not sure how would you expose your internal server to outside as a URL ? [the-geek.in]

Pidgin

Death by social networking !

This is so far the most mediocre and buggy product launched by Google. Two glaring bugs :

TruCrypt it is.

1. Too cramped

somehow Google gears or online solutions for safekeeping of my credentials don't make sense to me. [[the-geek.in]]
