I tested it ([the-geek.in]) a few days back. Though its relatively stable, there are some bugs like the friend does not appear online or replies are delayed, etc. But a very good idea.

There always are pluses and minuses. But this discussion poses some interesting questions. Questions of choices. When to use technology ?

Yeah, pidgin has a plugin called "psychic" that does the same job. I love freaking people by responding back before they have sent me an IM. Neat !

True. Flock is a silent killer-app. Couple of days of Flocking made a fan out of me. Ofcourse there were some unannounced crashes, but the long feature list is worth a look.

I agree with gopanthers, I like wordpress blog-export better. I think Blogger should open up a bit. Cross-platform APIs will only improve the user experience.

Yeah, I stumbled upon this by a lucky mistake while working on a Javascript bug. In my half conscious state, I pressed Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V while an error message popup was on. The surprise, my dear friend, was quite pleasant.
