Bravo sir!

FINALLY a use for the giant grills they want to put on every new car!

On the new gen WRX and STI if you activate full Kimi Raikkonen mode the car will let you left foot brake, but it is true that it will not if you leave the nannies on.

I’m asking this with a particular interest with regards to track cars, where freezing isn’t a concern and where a water wetter would be used for the corrosion protection and a surfactant to improve heat transfer with the metal in the block and exchanger

True, but the fact remains that the boiling point of a 50/50 mix is only a few degrees higher.

I’ve seen various arguments on the internet about this but I know you used to work on this professionally so I’ll post the question and explantion to you.

oh yeah, they’d have to redesign the center section and heavily design an electric motor, it will need water cooling and who knows what else to deal with the heat long term, probably a gear set, maybe a clutch system and of course a control system. Ideally that center section could be paired with a lot of different

That would keep them from having to worry as much about clean air, any old screen would be enough to keep the blades from being damaged.

Proof that you can rice out a porch

The battery being worn out definitely increases the effect because that deference in voltage between fully charged and dead becomes increasingly small. There is some logic built into the charge level indicator to try to compensate for this effect, but it has its limits.

LiPo battery charge percentage is based off of voltage in a pretty narrow range, drawing a lot of current will cause the voltage to drop unexpectedly and the charge indicator will think the capacity is lower than it is in reality. Plugging it in will relieve the current load and the voltage will return the the

Gonna be hard to show since all of those fat models had their lead free solder crack and brick the units. Where’s my lawsuit for that?

The plaintiff is literally (literally) claiming their shit doesn’t stink.

Yes, but a 200 whp 3000+lb car is still not exactly fast

I was just informed by skychismo those cars have iron blocks and forged internals. So I suppose that’s believe able.

So not exactly bolt on but that's still impressive. Didn't know they had factory forged internals.

Is that on the factory turbo?

A similarly high strung motor. 123hp/l vs Hondas 120hp/l, my WRX has 134hp/l. The problem is the civic weighs 3000lbs+ and has such a small engine. It's gonna have a hard time being very quick.

The abarths likely leave even less room for improvement, but at least they weigh significantly less than this.

180hp from a 1.5 is pretty impressive but the downside is it probably hasn't left a lot of room for tuning. With full bolt ons it'd probably make 200 wheel hp
