I hope we see more stories in there around the early days.  

They have effectively ruined any kind of peril or suspense regarding the well-being of Carol or Daryl now for the remainder of the mothership show, since we know they’ll survive until the spinoff begins.

I’ve always wanted a Carol spinoff (back when she got kicked out of the prison) that was basically her doing the Clint Eastwood “Man With No Name” western wanderer bit.

Carol &Daryl sounds like a Friday night NBC sitcom from 1986.
