Trump supporters are always telling his detractors that they should accept the situation and respect the office. Here is someone doing exactly that, and they fire him. Can they not go five minutes without conteadicting themselves?

Right! The sense of purpose is one of the main drivers that keep people alive, that, and great friends. (Its been studied.) 

Yeah - I mean, I’m sure he wasn’t a supporter of each president whose parade he participated in, but clearly this is where he feels his identity lies, in America’s story.

To be fair, no one else in the world calls it Doctors Without Borders except Americans, and Americans within the organization also call it MSF/Medecins Sans Frontieres (full disclosure: I’m in the volunteer pool).
