Fine, but you and I both know he should be looking at a minivan not a pseudo-sports car.

No, it is not. They are an absolute bitch to work on, the timing belt has to be replaced every 30,000 miles, and it would be ridiculously hard to get a child seat in it. Please try again.
I was thinking about all of the baby boomer bosses that drove around in these, Continentals, Rivieras, Eldorado’s, etc. Now they would all drive Yukons or Escalades, and I'm not sure which is worse.
It looks like it wants to “baby”, but in a completely different context.
David Tracy has no sense of humor as far as I am aware of.
Perfect, now go out and find him one for eight grand.
That's limey for sports sedan right?
Yeah, for $8,000 he is going to have trouble finding any sports sedan more sporting than the Jetta he already owns.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the car, and it was fun, and a much better winter car than the BRZ.
I have my seat lowered down all the way in my BRZ. Not claustrophobic at all, and I am 5'10" as well.
Actually, the average age of BRZ owners was substantially higher than those that bought the FRS precisely because the FRS was cheaper.
He wasn't going to buy a manual so he could go faster. He probably wanted a Mustang(with an automatic), but couldn't afford one.
And if neither manual or automatic models don’t sell you get none. Which is exact how many BRZ or 86 models I have seen at the local Subaru and Toyota dealers in four years.
Active Full Time Ugly. Sounds like an option but appears to be standard equipment.
How bout A.J. Foyt? Four Indy 500 wins from 7th, 5th and 4th(twice) starting positions. Not always the fastest, but just seemed to be always up front in the end.
I see VW also didn’t mention the higher trim level V-6 Accord and Camry, which will also compete with this car, and ultimately crush it just as they did with the CC last time.
It still does. The STi transmission is much better. The STI is a much better car, period, but also more money.
The WRX manual transmission, (which is cable actuated) is not the same one in the STI(that one is great btw ).
Yup. That is why it's gone, besides the fact that Ford sucks.
God bless those who bought any BRZ or WRX, manual or automatic. Or Miata, or any affordable enthusiast car. Otherwise, they are going to go the way of the do-do bird.
