My wife traded in her Forester on a Crosstrek last year; she loves it.

They are going to sell a lot of Supra’s, auto-box be damned.
Wake up and smell the toast jackass, I see all kinds of people buying these cars, including a lot of women. And you should be glad about it.
Or make enough money to buy his own damn car.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say most of the auto-box cars in question here are driven/owned by women. But before everyone gets too riled up here, I don’t think that’s a bad thing, because if they don’t buy these things they will disappear, like the Fiesta ST.
Yes, and now you can’t buy one.
For a while I owned a WRX and a BRZ, both manual. I got rid of the WRX and kept the BRZ. There were other reasons for doing so, but I didn’t like the 6 speed box in the WRX as much, and the pedal placement in it was not as good for heel/toe downshifting.
I don't think it's that simple. Just for fun I did a search of all available Miatas for sale on Car Gurus (1800). Over 50% of those were equipped with an automatic. Clearly, many of those were ordered with one. Most people don't want a manual anymore.
“I can’t wait to see what the tuners do with it”.
Last time I complement you on anything, that shit really goes to your head, “genius”.
In this case, it has some significance. Even though he survived that harrowing crash, it affected him physically throughout the rest of his life. I expect he would have lived longer without it.
Huge personalities have a way of getting distorted. As an Architect, I think often Frank Lloyd Wright, who acquired a reputation for being arrogant. He was a passenger on a plane my father was pilot on twice before he died, and he was incredibly gracious and interesting. The chairman of our department at university…
Niki probably didn’t have much of a chance of not being occasionally rude. He was Austrian, wealthy, and obviously driven to succeed at everything he did. I probably would have preferred to have a beer with Hunt, but admired and respected Niki immensely.
And how would you know? Have you owned one? I have for over four years and it has yet to have disappointed me.
I have no problem with the concept of an everyday sports, or supercar. But I do question whether Honda had the right vision for this car. I also wonder who they considered the primary competition was. I suppose perhaps the Nissan GTR.
I think this type of article is written to draw idiotic comments out of the resident crazies. Mission accomplished.
Completely stock except for 235/45/17 Dunlop Sport Maxx tires I had swapped out from my WRX. An experiment of sorts that is pretty much what I wanted. A little more stick, but still playful in the turns. I will replace them next season with Super Sports, and go down one size in width.
True to your moniker, I think you are being too rigid in your thinking. That may have been true, but with the advent of adaptive suspension, power modes, etc, they are able to make a vehicle equally at home on road or track, and I think this car will prove that.
Yeah, I think we got that...
BRZ/86, the raw dog of modern sports cars.
