The series 1 Celica was a lot like the first non-V8 Mustangs. Both wore their sedan underpinnings under a sporty facade, but were betrayed by lackluster handling and lack of performance in general. The Datsun 510 was a budget BMW, with the utility and performance of a true sports sedan. Or if you wanted a real sports

And your Board of Directors will fire you in the first month...

What car hasn’t gotten bigger since then? I am still shocked at how large the new Honda Civic is.

Sure, so is Audi, BMW and Mercedes, but you will pay twice as much for it.

That is the genius of Subaru. Safety isn't cool either, but the new models have safety features standard that other more expensive brands make you pay extra for.

Jesus Christ. No.

The RF is slightly nicer looking, at least from the front. But I would hesitate to call it pretty.

The old EJ25 motor currently in the STI won’t see the light of day in any Subaru once they come out with the new model.

Seems safe to say it will be a n/a version of the FA24 currently in the Ascent. And 230-240 hp seems doable with the Toyota DIT FI system.
