I believe that’s “What is Buell?” for $100 Alex.

The cost difference buys a HELL of a lot of gas.

First gear: IMO, Livewire should never had been an Harley. It should have been the Anti-Harley. Owned by the same people, but advertised as everything the Harley isn’t. Then Harley could advertise as everything the Livewire wasn’t.

3rd Gear: Russia *stole* those jets that were leased from Western companies, and now they are stripping them down for parts to keep them flying? How long do you think this will last?

I see a lot of vans as well.  But trucks end up in poor neighborhoods because they have been the best selling vehicles for decades and thus are available on the used market.  And it doesn’t have to be a manual labor job.  Go behind a shopping center, you see ratty trucks, older larger cars and a pile of Chevy Cobalts

If you have a commercial drivers license and have your equipment inspected regularly.

Yeah, funny how those popped up when the prices were going up, but per the article, we’ve had a “99 day straight decrease” and yet, those same people decided he -didn’t- do that.

Knowing the path doesn’t mean there won’t be effects.

in the race to provide the best on paper vehicle, dealers will trip over themselves to sell to people who cannot even park a smart car.

I guesstimate probably about 80% of American truck owners are essentially LARPers. They don’t need a truck, but they like the idea of being the type of person who would need a truck.

The extreme majority of people driving modern pickups and giant SUVs (because they’re included in this too) are not using them for work at all. They use them like sedans and don’t even think about doing work with them.

Old Rangers/B-series and old Tacomas too.

America’s got a problem, and this is their fleet vehicle.

You know what’s cheaper than a truck and even will even MORE reliably get you to work? A used Corolla or Camry. Damned few owners of pickups *need* them for work, they just *want* them, because it’s part of the manly-man ethos to drive a pickup.

Where I am the primary purpose of these (other than the cab-chassis rigs) seems to be to haul around one redneck and two Trump flags.

Only needs a lift kit on the front!

Needs a Lift Kit, Diesel Exhaust delete, Excessively large exhaust tip, brighter headlights and a Bro hat.

Every conceivable excuse drives gas prices higher. This is just one of the legitimate ones.

I’ve seen a decrease in the amount of “I did that!” stickers at the gas station. Shouldn’t we be adding “I did that!” stickers anytime gas prices drop too?

On a personal level, I just don’t care about gas prices. I’m lucky to say that, and I fully acknowledge it’s coming from a privileged perspective.
