Why not just get the suv version of the truck if your going to have a cap on it?

That is an expensive way to kill a tire.

I keep hoping Toyota would take the 4runner back to it’s roots and make it back into a Taco with an enclosed bed and chop the tail off at the rear axle.

Nope, Nope, Nope. A Fusion weights 4,010 lbs, a Tesla model 3 LR weights 4,250. The heavier crossovers weigh a lot more.

And if i remember correctly, they used the 4wd front suspension, so, it could be an interesting AWD build

Some are driven decent distances, but when the car is 20 ft long, there is plenty of space to hide batteries.

Lets be honest, they’d all be fine with a Ridgeline RAV4 Minivan.

humm, trailer tires have a max speed rating of 65 mph.....

I’ve often wondered what these cars would be like with a 3.5EB swap. From looking at the engine bay, it looks like there is enough space. The Duratec V6is roughly the same size block at the 3.5EB. At minimum the 3.7 from the S197 should be a physically easy swap (need to figure out the VCT) and provide a good

Think of the rear suspension as a first gen S550/ Fusion/Edge. Everything but the shocks are bolted to the K member, so it’s not that bad of a wholesale swap.

Yep, everything else is a far second fiddle to the F150.

How tall is this thing? I need a low CoG performance EV.

So they wouldn’t have had to shut down the pipe line.

I guess they couldn’t send someone out to read the meters?

Start looking into who owns who in the rental car industry. There are only 3 major players and the rest are owned by them. It will be obvious if you have the first or last flights of the day, often there will only by 3 counters open and the other counters have a sign to go to X counter for service.

I have no clue, I haven’t driven out side my local area in a year and a half now.

Given that your head is about 18" off the pavement, it’s hard to see even past the kart in front of you.

I’m assuming you are also referring to normal driving on the street, the 7 is more likely to be found on the track or going to/from. So, often it’s going from WOT to threshold braking.

I could see this being a hoot to drive, especially for autocross. Hopefuly, they will make the battery system modular, so it can be run light for autocross, and will a full set of batteries for track days or for a weekend cruise/trip.

The only reason why I can think they wouldn’t use regen braking is due to the changes in pedal feel. The 7 is all about feeling everything, and regen braking, takes some of that away and gives almost a variable brake pedal feel. But they could design regen to be consistent or have a ramp up as you press further into
