I think doing a bit of both makes sense. Put 1 meter of gravel right off the curbs as punishment for running wide, then paved asphalt beyond that to allow for scenarios, like the Gasly crash, to effectively slow down. I will also, once again advocate for tire curtains as well

Good.

I don't see that happening with Alfa renewing it's lead sponsorship. But that would be a very interesting development

It seems like we get bone dry races or the track gets completely flooded. Too bad we didn’t get to see any racing at one my favorite F1 tracks, but it was the right decision.

Geez that’s horrible. So glad they are all ok. They are very lucky there weren’t impacts in the same spot twice, like what happened in 2019

If your Accord is a manual, can I have it???

Exactly. OEMs spend millions of dollars trying to meet fuel economy targets and emission regulations while retaining power targets, and drivability targets. Some dude with a laptop and a dyno doesn’t know how to magically boost fuel economy AND retain everything the OEMs do, otherwise that dude would be employed by

If you are planning on adding power, get a used ND1 and have at it. There are at least two forced induction kits that are pretty well sorted. Toss on some sway bars, stickier tires and if you want to splash more cash, some Super Miata Xida’s. That would be one helluva car.

I’ve met Ryan several times at race weekends and had many conversations on Twitter with him. He is an absolutely awesome dude and we will watch/cheer for everything he is in. I am also one of those people who have Continental tires partially because of him and made sure to let Conti know about it too.

I really really hope this takes the place of the Civic coupe that was sadly discontinued. Given that the ILX is Civic based, it would make a ton of sense to use the 10th gen coupe with some rigidity tweaks the 11th gen sedan gets. Bare minimum it needs to not have a CVT and have more power than the 10th gen Si even if

They have plenty of power, are everywhere, and are apparently easy to steal. It’s the trifecta!

As someone who loves Oakley sunglasses, it’s sad that it is so true....

Change the barrier orientation and implement tire curtains. I’m a huge fan of them after seeing what could have been a horrible crash at VIR a few years ago. I don’t know if they are FIA approved or not but they work really well in high speed areas.

Glad to hear you are doing much better. That guy was a total tool.

Oh absolutely, it’s a huge issue. There are good morals and lessons to be learned, just like a history book, but more than that and it’s going too far.

Do you have an NC by any chance? If it is easy to slip into the reverse gate, the little plastic retainer is probably worn down. R-Speed has some for sale.

Religion within itself is not necessarily a poison, but organized religion definitely is.

Yeah Kimi hits Seb and gets 20 seconds which didn’t change a single thing. Lewis takes out the leader of the race, does not damage his own car, and gets 10 seconds. Doesn’t seem consistent

Should fighting for the lead be weighted more than fighting for 10th or lower? It seems like it would make sense to have a collision taking out a race leader (no matter who it is) result in a higher penalty. 10 seconds for Hamilton or Max might as well be called a racing incident and a free win if they take out the

We bought some permeable pavers to add an extra parking spot as well! However we did some math incorrectly and have waaaaayy too many of them. Pretty sad for two engineers...
