A new Acura TLX. Mid $50ks for the Type S or the Advance with everything nice for around $50k and shouldn’t depreciation too terribly within your time frame. Considering one of the criteria is a good sound system, the ELS one in them is pretty damn awesome, even though it doesn’t have the “brand name” of a B&O.

I know a guy that fixes them. Look up Optispark Solutions

Why does the rear overhang look so long? Is it just an optical illusion in the lead picture?

Yep, I thought the Supra sounded rather poor compared to what is all over the world with a rather unique 2JZ engine note. Maybe we will be surprised with the various engine upgrades??

I was going to say the same thing, buy a Miata, pack for a trip in it, and then take that same amount on any trip

It’s almost like how corporate America “cuts costs”, shrink the workforce and boom, costs cut. Now where is my golden parachute...

It’s almost like a large portion of NASCAR’s fanbase doesn’t understand anything with engineering....

What is, ASIMO.

Crush it

I will disagree with you there. I’ve watched SST several times in person and they provide great silly entertainment with arge-barge bumper car style passing (which is generally not liked in the open wheel world). It does not provide the same entertainment as the high octane single seats (which I absolutely love) but

Your take is bad and you should feel bad. (not really, you are entitled to your own opinion and should not feel bad for having said opinion.)

I really want to see an anti-offroad Bronco now. Slammed with the wheels tucked up into the arches like the front right in the picture

The Jeeps knew their owners were gonna be underwater, so they just skipped the middle man!

Get a reflective sun shade. They do wonders for keeping the interior temperature down a few degrees and keeping at least part of the steering wheel out of direct sun

You almost nailed what I want, ventilated seats, large lumbar support range AND more telescoping to the steering wheel. I have long legs and slightly short arms so I’m always compromising on leg support or stretching slightly more than I want to move the wheel. I haven’t found a car that includes a manual and all of

First the “flexi wings” and now pit stops? Seems like the Merc cage has been thoroughly rattled. Which arguably says they know RB is the team to beat, not themselves

Yep, seems weird that McLaren is weighing in on this considering the second fastest team in the pits is Williams and Red Bull is far enough out front of them that McLaren will never fight against them on pure pace (at least this season). I smell some "alliance" garbage being played again by Merc. They did the same

I think they can make it work and keep the “gram strategy” alive if they do a small electric motor coupled to the drivetrain as an assist and in theory could give a nice boost to city MPG. It also wouldn’t require a massive battery, so I could see Mazda packaging them behind the lower back area of the seats. As

Maybe they should focus on getting their actual race program working correctly before doing weird stuff like this.

I’d say, yes but also no. I think we will look back and see pre-Great Recession vehicles will be the best era overall for reliability, with enough tech (or ability to put new infotainment) and ability to repair without needing a degree in electrical engineering.
