They must have used really really cheap adhesive. Even the fabric on all the doors are droopy!

She's happy with the car for now, minus the sagging headliner that we will eventually get around to fixing but we'll definitely take a look at the PHEV, HEV, EV market.

We have an 05 with the base 2.4i engine. The compressor is down low in the front on the passenger side. We’ve talked about PHEV or full EV for her next car since we only use her’s for around town and her commute, a PHEV wagon would be even better. Everything else we end up using my Civic Si.

What about the 2022 Civic prototype compared to the Elantra N?

7 compressors??? That’s absurd!! With the clutch issue coming from heat and the gap, we could sometimes get a couple minutes of AC or sometimes we would get nothing but hot air. If you Google “Volvo AC zip tie fix” you should get a fairly good understanding on what issues people had. Ours is a 2005 and I did the fix

I was in an HPDE class and one of the guys in a Miata was asking those with higher power cars (C7s, M3s, Caymans) to lift and let him by on the straights. They would blow by him on the straight and then 2 corners later he’s stuck behind them and is having to lift through corners, kind of defeating the purpose of a

NB2 1.8 VVT master race lol. I have no idea how much my NB2 makes but I doubt its still the 143.

Do you know if it was actually the compressor or just the compressor clutch? Ours had issues with the AC kicking off after about 5 minutes and the fix... zip ties! Yes zip ties fixed a complicated refrigeration cycle. Basically the clutch wears down and over time the gap gets too large for the magnet to stay engaged,

If you have an early 2000's Volvo V50 I would suggest paying someone to do it. I just did it and it took me TWO HOURS!!!! I’ve never encountered a more painful filter removal. You have to remove the throttle pedal and would probably benefit from removing the whole brake and steering assembly. It’s jammed up against

I hate people who drive slowly on the ramps! I only have 143 hp (when new) to work with people, I need all the run up I can get!

Engineers are finally being blamed for something good!

I know.... Doesn’t make it any less sad though... I always loved the look of these things. Might have to start saving now until the 25 year rule is up so I can import a DC5 Type R

I agree, the seats aren’t much of an issue, easy enough to replace or reskin. Wheels would be swapped to something else with summer tires. And paint isn’t that bad by the look of it. Assuming it’s fairly clean underneath it’s priced just a tad high IMO. $4000 would probably be a Nice Price vote

Exactly. And it doesn’t help that I live in a salt loving area of the country. So all the ones that are destroyed by unexperienced drivers are rotted from the inside out...

This just hurts. It’s almost impossible to find a clean RSX Type S anywhere around me. Everything is either slammed, stanced, wrecked, poorly looked after, or way too much money. Where are all the nicely priced and not destroyed models???

It is! Several of the localish Miata guys have various cheap LED light strips under their car. It’s a fun car so why not have some more fun with it?

It’s maddening. It’s insane how bad it is to even try to reply to a comment!! I also noticed it sometimes crashed when I open multiple articles at once (on a computer not mobile), which is also very annoying.

Yeah I like the 2 door look, just don’t like the asymmetric design.

It says Aug 90, so only a year newer

While the Veloster might be great I can’t get over the bizarre coupe on one side, two door on the other. I just can’t do it.
