Or maybe Honda is just better at calibrating hybrids

The Ridgeline is really a great truck for 90% of “truck” owners (lots of towing and serious off-roading are not common no matter how much marketing there is). But for some much more complex reason (social, psychology, etc.) people ignore it. It seriously drives as well as an Accord with all the greatness of a mid size

My parents got me into racing through IndyCar. Then Top Gear got my into cars. Then Engineering Explained taught me about cars

Rumors say there is at least one fully functioning road going V10 stashed away in Japan. Possibly with the S2000 successor that was apparently partly developed

Honest question, is there ever going to be a clear GOAT in F1? The cars, rules, teams, budgets, bans, number of races, reliability, etc. have varied so much over each era that it’s almost comparing apples to oranges in some cases (like comparing Fangio’s era to now). Hamilton is no doubt one of the greatest drivers

Not exactly a concept car, but a race car that never got it’s road going counter part. The Honda HVS-010

You carry a $300+ pen around with you??? That’s almost as expensive as my phone...

I think you mean “fine adjustment tool”

That’s the joy (danger) of Amazon!

Portimao is an awesome looking track and seemed to be lots of fun for the drivers. Shortening the DRS zone a bit would help keep Turn 1 interesting...

You can see a“Test Vehicle” decal at 2:04 in the video, so it’s a pretty solid guess.

Yes but you lose the benefit of the higher speed limit, especially if you look at the bullet trains in Japan, the operate at over 150 mph! The buses or autonomous cars will never get close to that (although it would be hilarious to see a drag double decker bus!!!)

Correct, it isn’t feasible in today’s world. It needed to be started decades ago before the suburban sprawl really took over. Now it’s just a pipe dream...

Exactly! I live close enough to X city but would love to explore Y city without spending 8 hours driving and then dealing with parking in Y city, that I don't know well enough to navigate though.

Texas would be a great state for this! All that empty space (or so the internet tells me) for it to run though quickly

When I was growing up outside of the Chicago area we would take a passenger train into the city to go to museums and such, which I loved, so trains will always have a soft spot in my heart.

Oh yeah no doubt! It’s a massive hurtle that needed to be done approximately 100 years ago. Just because I know it’s 99.99% not possible doesn’t mean I don’t want it...

It really is sad that this the year for them to bow out, without a proper full season. I only experienced the noise once but I would have loved to see them actually racing (I could only go on a practice day 😢).

I’m glad I got to experience the noise before they go the way of the dodo bird. I will always remember the insane noise of the flat six echoing down Thunder Valley at Mid Ohio. Truly the best sounding engine in the GT world.

In the US? Long distance high speed rail. Other smaller countries have it figured out, granted they don’t have the space for massive freeways like the US does.
