You are correct but they aren’t “beta testing” with untrained drivers like Tesla. Work out the kinks and then release it with approval from the government agencies.

“hmm.... a link to a youtube video, strange but I’ll click it anyway.”

Hmmm.... I’d think going the Cannonball record style would probably be best. Understated, boring color, and big engined German. Or as other’s have said, a hot hatch could be a nice compromise of handling and power, Focus RS with a base Focus bumpers?

Given the secrecy and not caring about fame, I’m surprise this is Marshmello’s.

Not just a Fortnite thing, he’s been pretty big before that. But I bet it didn’t hurt his popularity. I think he did a virtual concert on Fortnite and also they released all sorts of Marshmello related gear for the game too

Interesting, I hadn't heard that one.

Or as I saw some people comment on Instagram, it’s all just part of his contract game. This is the same guy who said “my tires are dead” and then 2 laps later started bombing out fastest lap after fastest lap for the next 10 laps.

I’m going to say a Miata or a Lotus Elise size vehicle. Going off of the Elise, the Tesla Roadster weighs nearly 35% more and loses the manual. Adding all that weight defeats the point of a small roadster with a manual.

Yep! The Portugal race showed how amazing elevation change is for fans and drivers. Looked like an awesome track to drive, unlike Abu Dhabi’s pancake circuit.

I currently mentor an FRC team and it happens about once a season.

I think Erricson hit us...

Project car? Poorly. House projects? Not quite as poor. Does anyone else just feel beat down all the time?

I agree it was a racing incident. Especially if you look at Pipo’s pass into Turn 1 again, they only made it through that corner because the Acura lifted and reduced the contact. If #7 doesn’t, both cars are in the wall.

The return of the TAG Heuer engines!

I knew SST had some events on IndyCar weekends (they were great fun to watch at Belle Isle) but not all of them and had some events outside of Indy weekends. I'd love to see them at all the tracks or at least more of them. Also I guess I haven't seen much of SRO since they changed from Pirelli World Challenge, but

It makes a lot of sense with Mazda also parting with the “Road to Indy” sponsorship and IMSA needing another filler to replace the LMP3 race on some weekends. I hope IndyCar can team up with someone else (SRO World Challenge? Stadium Super Trucks?) to bring additional fun to fans too.
