Current rumors are Meyer Shank racing is making a return to prototypes with Acura and that there are several other teams both within IMSA and from the outside that would also like to partner with them. I’d personally love to see MSR running DPi and have RealTime Racing take over the GTD reigns. Also could see Ganassi

It’s really simple, you drive it to the dealership and you’re done! (That’s what most OEMs typically want anyhow)

Fair enough, I lost touch of them since the FMC a while ago too. My best guess is all the other Mini models use plastic models and that they might be a different size or shape.

When it’s done well, you really can’t tell the difference. The process is pretty cool to 3D print metals and can allow some really complex shapes to be made easily. But in the case of this Mini, the low production volume probably made it cheaper to spend the money 3D printing rather than making two separate molds.

GM makes absolutely awesome drivetrains and throws them into a body that goes from mildly attractive (or boring) all the way to ugly and then couples it with a mediocre or poorly packaged interior. It doesn’t matter if they can obliterate the competition in every measurable way, people still won’t buy them. It’s been

You missed my point. I don’t think he was actually trying to pass Sainz. If you watch the replay again, he’s following the exact same racing line as Leclerc with a semi early apex. He expects Sainz to tuck in right behind Leclerc or stay on the outside. When Sainz doesn’t do that but instead cuts down hard, Vettel has

I don’t think Seb was trying to make a move on Sainz. Sainz was way deep and squared off the corner really sharp in his fight with Leclerc, right where Vettel was planning on putting his Ferrari. By the time Vettel saw how sharp Sainz was cutting down, it was already too late for him to change his line without

I’m guessing they are taking it to Formula D. Ford has a couple pretty high profile drivers running Mustangs so having them at least do an exhibition run in a Mach-E seems logical. The crazy fan set up also show they need a ton of cooling (at low speeds), so something like a drift event makes sense. They run WOT for a

I think the correct answer is to put it into everything. With Powered by Maserati badges on every fender for an extra couple grand

Thanks for the laugh! (signed by a proud Miata owner who is trying to figure out the finances for a second...)

I have a good answer for this but I am currently looking for one and don’t want any attention drawn to them... Shhhhh....

If someone said “whatcha up to?” while I was working on a project, I’d happily tell them what I’m working on. I enjoy sharing what I do with others and I see no issues with having a friendly conversation about it.

Fair enough. I'm going off of my experience with my neighbors and this case is not like that. Her actions are definitely not excusable.

I’m a very curious person, so I don’t think there is any harm in asking what they are working on, but “do you have a permit” that’s some bullshit. I would never question the legitimacy of someone else’s project, because like you said “mind your own damn business”.

Easy, his 1985 Toyota Supra. He bought it for something like $1200 from someone who scrathed up the side mirrors on their single car garage. Both he and my mom loved that car but they needed something else so he had to sell it a couple years later for around $1500 before I was born.

Yes? It’s pretty well known that almost all OEMs test in and around Death Valley. My last trip there I saw about 15 camoed cars, including the current Blazer, X5, Soul, E class, and possibly a Merc SUV. German OEMs used to send engineers there for something like 6 weeks at a time during the summer time and often

Hyundai and Honda both have test tracks in the middle of a completely empty desert valley. Honda’s up top and Hyundai’s down near the bottom

With the title picture of the 370z I was expecting to see that all the fun Nissan comebacks were dead for good. I'm glad they are focusing on making desirable cars rather than cheap ones for the next generation

But they can’t even get those packages on the ships in the first place. The actually time moving hasn’t changed but the demand and ship availability has. Most things are just sitting in warehouses or shipping ports waiting to finally get on a ship.

That’s pretty cool. It seems Porsche is rather finicky when it comes to motorsports lol. I loved to watch the semi-grassroots feel of the lower Pro or Pro-Am series banging wheels in the “affordable” street cars (Caymans, Mini, Miata, Civics, etc.), so much fun!
