That’s crazy! But at the same time it makes sense, the GT4 platform is global so they can sell them to a lot more customers and lower the cost. I think those McLarens Compass run are basically just the stock cars with cages, so even more cars to spread the cost!

Yeah it’s not just as simple as stripping the interior and welding in a cage like it is for some grassroots racing. There’s a lot of extra stuff that needs to happen to meet various rules and regulations or be competitive in the field

Part of the issue with costs is down to the cars they use. I remember the ST fielded Mini’s had to be completely gutted and have custom ECU’s and wiring which ballooned the cost for them, and those are the “cheap” cars. In order to eliminate all of the electrical systems now it requires full system tear downs rather

I will always love this GIF

Maybe we can use this to advocate for 3 pedals to make a comeback!

$800? In the midwest the market is insane. I paid $1000 for a top in good shape but with bad paint around the edges. I’ve seen clean tops range from $1000 up to $1300.

I’d love to see racing sedans make a comeback! I can’t help but bring up one of my favorite race cars, the TLX GT which competed against Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Bentley in the old Pirelli World Challenge. Having cars like this running around again would be lots of fun.

It might have been back when the parties shifted. I think that was around Roosevelt’s time?

It hasn't been that party for quite a while now...

No it shouldn’t return in that form. It destroyed the bottom end of the used car market which forced the average price of a used car upward. Notice how you can’t get a variety of beat up but well running vehicle for less than $3000+? It also an incentive to push more people into 100 month loans (exaggeration) on a

When did GM provide engines to Honda? I know Honda provided GM with the V6 using in a Saturn SUV

My 2019 Si seats are perfectly comfortable as have every modern Honda/Acura I’ve been in (which is pretty much all of them). Maybe your butt is just different? Lol

I am an engineer and work with lots of engineers. I agree that maybe not every engineer should have ruling power though. Especially those darn Civils...

Another reason engineers should rule the world...

I say basically the same! If your gonna be stupid, be smart about it.

Just get the Mustang. You can get a used current gen GT or GT premium for under $35k easily around there. 5-6 years is a long time to drive around a vehicle you want to have kids in. So no point not getting what you actually want until then. Quick search brought this up.

So how long till every upscale mall is crawling with these silent eggs?

This is borderline too much for a 14 year old car but clean examples of RSXs are getting harder and harder to find. A good maintenance record and tear free seats lead me to voting NP, I would love to daily (and slightly mod) this.

I drove one with 4 people, 3 over 6' tall, for around 3 hours straight with no complaints. Also had the back stuffed full of bags, boxes, etc. and managed something in the mid 30s MPG wise.
