Exactly! The cloth tops are fantastic for just simply tossing them up and down. No need to pull over and wait for the machine to move a heavy metal top

Yep! My NB is pretty easy to use but putting it up from the driver seat is a little awkward to first get it going.
I spent a good chunk of time messing with the ND and Fiat top at auto shows and like you said, you don’t need to move out of the driver’s seat but I think the windows were open so I’m not sure if it would catch with the windows up.
The ND Miata is literally a single latch that takes around 5 seconds to put up if you’re slow at it. Check it out if you get a chance, it’s pretty slick.
We have a ‘03 TL Type S with over 325k miles on it and it’s still running strong! The only problem was the well-documented 5-speed AT failures
I raise you the 2003 TL/CL Type S. Plenty of power with nice steering feel. And you can get the CL with a 6 speed manual!
Its not just a tacked on system that uses the brakes to alter the wheel torque. It is arguably one of the best systems out there for how stout and reliable it is.
10/10 would buy!! It would be great to have at my desk at work
Probably where the height comes from, legs vs torso. It can make a huge difference in how you fit in smaller cars
I’ve often said that Toyko Drift is the best car movie of all the F&F movies, since its actually focused on the cars and driving them. Not setting up a heist or guns or fighting hand to hand but racing cars.
I have found that Home Depot has the best prices on 5 quarts of oil in my area. I bought 5 quarts of Pennzoil high mileage for $17 while it was $30+ at the auto parts stores
I think they sell well because they are generally all-around solid vehicles. Maybe not perfect or necessarily the “best” in their respective categories but up near the top in terms of quality for the price.
I said this exact thing a long time ago. There was no obvious reason to change the branding from Corvette to Cadillac. They already had a successful front engine Cadi race car in PWC which was ended to focus on the Mid-Engine prototype. What makes sense to me is that they are building a brand image for a mid mounted…
I’ve said this to my friends before: if they want to make stupid power SUVs, I want to see them racing. It could lead back to the “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” mentality and some sort of rallycross style racing like mentioned would be perfect. Who wouldn’t love seeing posh mall-mobiles covered in mud and banging…
If Rossi had clipped the A pillar of that Jeep he easily could have been sent sideways, directly into the crowd. I can’t imagine the number of casualties that could have resulted from that
Two ideas:
This is amazing! The closest series we have to this recently is probably the Continental Tire Series, specifically the ST class of last year.
