They would have to add driver cooling as there would be no airflow over the driver. Beyond the cooling, the whole closed cockpit thing would add weight up high, which isn’t great for the handling.
The electric on the gearbox would be more for torque fill rather than adding to power or braking but I see what you’re getting at
