I missed most of the race but when I saw that both MSR cars were out I was kinda sad since they’ve been running well. But seeing this makes me mad. This wasn’t a racing incident, this was stupidity.

There was talk of Ariel getting batteries and maybe electric motors from Honda to go along with the engines being supplied. But a turbine, not sure.

Why is that a bad thing? It could be NSX tech...

Is this the first project with Ariel getting hybrid stuff from Honda?

Fun fact: I actually enjoy seeing the little lights show up in the wing mirrors when I’m passing them :)

This is quite a nice birthday present!

The ITR you’re referring to was pretty stripped of comforts. The Type S models were better all over (better suspension, more power, better seats, better exterior, ect.) rather than a stripped Type R. So I think a Type S name would align more with the business model.

As long as the economy is good, I would imagine that it’s on the card for the NSX. Maybe not with this face but in at least in the next couple years

In today’s money, the original NSX would have been about $110,ooo. So only affordable to those who can buy brand new mid-level 911s. And that NSX didn’t have two turbos and three electric motors so.... I think the pricing is reasonable, maybe a little high, but reasonable. NP from me.

As long as there isn’t an economic crisis (see 2008/2009) I wouldn’t be surprise to see a higher power/lighter weight/RWD NSX in the future

Have you seen one in person? They look awesome!

I think this is more of a MMC than a total redesign so I wouldn’t expect something that drastic yet

Central Ohio, so rust is very much a thing that eats cars

Haha it’s all good. I really only see a few Golfs running around from that VW era, but that’s rare.

Young, but not that young lol. I’m 21 at the moment but I also haven’t really paid much attention to VWs besides Super Beetles. So it’s possible I’ve seen them but not really noticed

I think so. If it wasn’t exclusive then they used a boat load of them

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a MKIII Jetta outside of that movie...

I think Honda has been one of the more proactive ones. I had my TL airbag replaced not that long after the recall came out

Why are things that are oh so perfect, oh so expensive?? :(

This could be really tempting if/when this comes out. On a side note, thoughts on if a supercharge engine could be on the cards for a Mazdaspeed Miata?
