This is my take, too. I think I fell hook line and sinker for the hype, when really it’s just another open world shooter that falls on the tier below basically any Rockstar game. Driving mechanics are lame, the crafting/upgrading seems haphazard, items and weapons are redundant and collecting them is boring. On it’s

Upgrade it by using a vacation day (or sick day)“

Is that a racist symbol on the mask in the header image?

I’ve had several employer-based healthcare plans and still have no idea how insurance works, what I’m supposed to pay where, or how much different types of visits are supposed to cost.

This... I’ve been seriously lifting for almost 10 years now and have never once given unsolicited advice. I can remember the feelings of apprehension,/embarrassment/anxiety during my first forays at the gym. It’s a place already crammed with ego and self-consciousness. People will learn if they want to learn—by

Very cool. While I’m sure there are lots of variables that go into what makes makes an individual symetrically strong that can’t fully be captured with a tool like this, it does give a pretty interesting snapshot and makes me want to focus more on certain groups. I knew my bench was pretty weak for someone who has

I hate to be this guy, but I wonder if you’re fully squatting if your squat is so advanced and the rest of your lifts are mostly novice. Are your hamstrings at least perpendicular to the floor? I spent a good year (maybe more) when I started lifting thinking I had naturally strong legs because my squat was so heavy

“I don’t expect you to talk, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die share this heartwarming meme about an old person learning to accept their gay grandson with all 256 of your friends!”

“You’re spending way too much time on simple e-mails, man.”

Weird, because I am a man and use exclamation points, rarely use “yes” or “ok”, and have been known to spend upwards of 5 minutes crafting a one-line response e-mail for proper tone.

Wow I love that, thanks! Definitely gives a new mindset on those days when training feels like a waste because I have so little energy.

This. If we could close our eyes and go back to 1995 when everything was “fine”, either might have been tolerable because we wouldn’t be thinking about them much. Now the world is in turmoil and the country as we know it is on the brink of collapse. Milquetoast politicians can’t save us.

He’s just unkempt. More 36 year old than you realize would be bald and grey like that if they didn’t shave their heads and trim/dye their beards.

I really dislike people who live in a city and believe they are immune from things like people walking their dogs. Perhaps you would be better suited to a remote farm somewhere if living in a dense residential area is such a nuisance? People have dogs, and dogs need to be walked. Not sure why you didn’t think of that

This. Amazon has plenty of products from trusted manufacturers, you just have to be aware what you’re looking at. I tend to ignore most no-name brands on Amazon because most of them are trash.

how old is too old to be going through a quarter life crisis? I’ve been experiencing this for the past 4 years and am about to turn 32 in February. Am I too old to make drastic changes?

It’s a pretty good show.

1) there is no magical account from which the city is paying Sterling Bay in the Lincoln Yards agreement. Sterling Bay is fronting over a billion dollars to cover (city improving) infrastructure costs for the development, to be repaid over the next two decades as new development at Lincoln Yards generates tax revenue.

Lightfoot 100% wants to limit class sizes and would prefer to have nurses in every school (who doesn’t?). She, however, is hamstrung by the budgetary issues (please don’t spread that TIF garbage as that is not how the TIF system works).”

“What becomes clear after any time spent on the picket is that the stories you hear are about the conditions inside Chicago public schools, but they’re also about housing, gentrification, health care, food, immigration, transportation.”
