The A.V.Club

"technically villainous" - the best kind of villainous.

Man, what that lady can do with your beans…

I've been delivering care baskets to agoraphobics, but leaving them at the end of the driveway. Guess I'm a supervillain.

Me neither - a nce surprise.
It was not too villainous a response when they did come back though.

I asked my then-four-year-old-niece what she wanted for Christmas last year, and she said "a house full of bugs and a bottle of port".
I would have been glad to have "banjo" as an answer.

Me too - I'm also glad that no-one has made any other Transformers movies since.

My brother had the best reaction to that movie ever - "that film was f#cking f#cked as f#ck!"

It was in the books - from the very start

Thank you: he was described as English early on, then changed (in You Only Live Twice) to being Swiss-Scottish.

You write Goebbels, I read ElDan.

Jeremy Corbyn?

Maybe that's to the series' benefit - each era could be a different TV season with a different actor. I remain hopeful.

I remember liking it, but the "hit" comment was slightly tongue-in-cheek. No-one I've mentioned it to in recent memory had any idea that it existed.

Anyone aged 30-80 in the UK probably has some level of fondness for it because Terry Wogan used to play it on his radio show and sing along (badly).

Whenever it comes on when I'm driving it gets cranked up to drown out my caterwauling.

I would argue that it was the fact that "Brass Monkey" is now going around my head.

Well "Teen Angel" was such a massive hit in the 90s, so we're due a resurgence.

I saw Spartacus on the same network!

Given that Bernard Cornwell also wrote the Sharpe novels, there is hope that this might work.
