I met David Prowse (in costume) at a toyshop when Jedi came out. I was 6, and couldn't understand why Darth Vader spelt his name "David".

I met Robert Englund a couple of years back - he was staying in our local pub/hotel. He was gracious and friendly and did not mind people asking for his autograph (he in fact carried postcards with him for that purpose).
I didn't get his autograph.

Nice.
I have a few signed first editions, but nothing in that class.

I have no posters, but promo photos of: Million Dollar Baby (Eastwood), Casino (De Niro, Pesci), The A-Team (not a movie poster, but Dwight Schultz was my favourite), Return of the Jedi (Fisher, Ford, Hamill), The Princess Bride (Robin Wright and Cary Elwes).
Pride of place goes to Say Anything (Skye and Cusack).

I had him sign "My Year of Flops" but I hear unsigned copies are worth far more.

I got my favourite Python - Michael Palin - to autograph a book ("Sahara") for me when I met him. I was dead chuffed to meet him, but asked him top make it out to my mother in law, because she really wanted the book.

No - he taped him up and put him in the back of the cabinet.

Seriously, are we still not doing "phrasing"?

It has a similar, warped, sensibility.
Both are the type of programme that I will watch with my wife in the room. I'll be laughing like a loon, and she'll be stony-faced.

I hadn't checked because I already have the DVD. I'm a bit annoyed that it looks like the US DVD has better features, though.

Have you sen "My Wrongs", Morris' short film that was initially (I believe) intended to be a part of "Jam"? It is great.

His yelling thing is starting to wear a bit on me.
I listen to Absolute Radio sometimes, and he voices some of the in-programme bits. They are a bit repetitive, and now grate.

Oh yes.

It has certainly piqued my interest.
I now have it playing on my computer at work. Finally, a use for Amazon AutoRip.

Try Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
It's just a little less out there, but just as good.

Whose?

Get the DVD. Or watch it on Netflix. Seriously, the reviewer is right - this needs to be seen in its original format to appreciate the humour at its best.

Figuratively, Lana.
