Okay - I watched the opening video (the last one listed) and it’s definitely a count. The Rockettes are #2, Drew Barrymore is #3, Leonard Bernstein is #4, etc. But who is #1?

Nell Carter is amazing. Also - does anyone know what the numbers mean? Is it a star count?

She worked to keep it in her memory. It was the last day anyone saw Hae alive, there was a snow storm, she wrote Adnan the initial letter, she wrote him a second letter, etc. it's easy to forget things unless something else out of the ordinary makes you remember.

My questions is, why is congress’s only recourse to simply beg this asshole to reduce the price of the drug? Doesn’t congress have the power to do something more meaningful? Like regulate drug prices? Or ban price gouging?

The same way he “knew” any of the rest of it- the police told him.

Re: Adnan / Jay

This depends on how much you trust the police. The detectives involved in Adnan’s case were involved in another murder conviction that was eventually overturned because of bad police work and potential tampering with evidence.

Lucas has been at his best when he is collaborating, whether that’s with Ralph McQuarrie, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan, or the film’s actors.

Here’s the real rub, though: The writing is kind of... terrible?

This dress makes it look like her arms are coming out of her boobs.

I feel like the first four might be seen on the red carpet today.

You could, but to what end? Green, lime free guac? What good would that be?

I was just going to say a guac recipe with no lime is bullshit. And gross. And gonna be brown real quick.

I had that in blue. It was the most fun ever.

I’m sorry if I seemed flip.

I think it is important to hold people accountable for their choices. I see the name change thing as similar as a decision to remain closeted (although, of course, not the same).

It depends on the state. In NC it costs $28, and is relatively quick, but does require being fingerprinted, filling out a number of forms, and going before a judge. Name change at marriage is free and can be done online (although a marriage license is $50, but requires fewer forms.)

Also - neither of us really feel like marriage is a good reason to change your identity!

I love my name. I have a fairly uncommon first name and a common last name. My husband is the opposite - common first name and uncommon last.
