Thanks. But how do we pronounce "GJI"?

Hollywood has always been "soft on the South" when it came to Civil War (and civil rights) matters, and this has mystified & infuriated me since I was a young kid.

Or if in D, you can "press and hold" and it'll go straight to P. At least that's my understanding.

Audi used the same shifter during the same period. In fact, Audi may still be using that shifter, at least Chrysler ditched it after a couple of years.

I'm of two minds when it comes to the dial: I mean if you're driving a slushbox anyway, you might as well get rid of the old-school selector and create some usable space in the console.

Meh…don't waste your time on him, he's already the voice inside meye yedd…

All that needs to happen is that you experience something that you can't explain. That does not automatically mean that (a) the event was supernatural or extraterrestrial in nature, or (b) you are a nutcase for sharing your experience.

I like all three of these films (Madness, New Nightmare, Lord of Illusions).

Good call. I was pleasantly surprised by that film. It did seem to have a pretty good sense of itself, perhaps due to the 80's vibe that you suggested.

Thanks for the recommend, I haven't seen Skeleton. I heard one of the filmmakers interviewed on the radio, and it sounded interesting, but I wondered whether it hit the mark it was aiming at.

PedanticEditorType is right! The physiology of the humans had changed due to generations of living on a spaceship — as is explained in the film. Sure, it can also be an allegory for laziness or consumerism or what have you, but I thought it was explicitly less heavy-handed than it might otherwise have been.

That is an interesting sort-of subgenre. Totally agree with those picks.

Don't forget DC Follies, which was the US's answer to the UK's "Spitting Image". Ours featured Fred Willard and the Krofft Puppets.

Upvoted for Hardcore reference.

ABC cancelled Police Squad! because it was too weird, and replaced it with No Soap, Radio — which was exponentially weirder.

Seen in my Twitter timeline last Christmas:

Well, to be serious for a moment, I don't have a problem with her being modest…it's just that (as BenjaminSapiens pointed out) the resulting costume is pretty bad. I think they could have accommodated her wishes and still come up with a better costume than they did.

He forgot to login to his RepostedThePrinceThatWasPromisedcomments gimmick account.

If anything, Fox should apologize for the costume change between the Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence versions! (As in, Lawrence is actually wearing a costume; I think Romijn could best be described as wearing "appliques".)

Oh, man…pop fanatics make this stuff look so easy!
