NYC, like most things, is more fun when you have a shit ton of money.

Like many things, the enjoyment of living in NYC is in direct correlation to how much money you have. Miami also sucks, unless you got a lot of money in which case it is fucking amazing.

The trend is definitely moving toward an urban core. It is only going to intensify over the next 50 years.

I live in DC, which is not amazing, entirely due to the ability to earn a living. I would live somewhere else if I had a skill set that was not entirely dependent on doing ‘dumb bullshit.’

Our departmental coordinator booked three amtrak tickets on the same reservation (ie. one print out). There are no reserved seats but this de facto made me sit with my asshole boss from 3 hours each way. He made agendas and everything. Worst trip of all time and I was in a near plane crash.

Pittsburgh is a good stadium. I live in DC and enjoy Nats park. It’s easy to get in and out of and you can spend an afternoon relaxing in a nice venue without a whole production.
