1. This makes me glad I never got on the Bikram Yoga bandwagon.

I think you’d be surprised at how little men value women in the sex industry. I used to bartend at a strip club (where I ironically wore fare more conservative clothes than my other bar tending gigs) and pretty routinely got offered around $100 to give blow jobs to CEO’s and upper level businessmen. $100- lol! And

One time recently, a guy on OkCupid offered me “$200-$300" to fuck him, out of the blue, as if soliciting random women on OkCupid is a solid plan. When I was offended not just by the violation but by what I saw to be an insanely low ball offer, my hilarious but somewhat emotionally cold friend googled the going rate

There’s no way he’s paying ten grand either.

I should preface this by saying, I think Donald Trump is gross and his campaign for president is like something you’d see in a 2000AD satire comic. That said, is it weird that (allegedly) offering $10,000 for sex makes me think he’s a cheapskate? I mean, yeah, it’s a shitload of money to me - but he’s (allegedly) a

Susan Gurney is clearly an ignorant self-hater. Women experience cognitive decline after 55, but magical men don’t? Makes sense, so let’s put a man who is 2 years older than the woman running) in office. And the thing about the way they speak? Whaaaat? She hears rationality, intelligence, and coherence when Trump

My mom was raped as a young woman. She got a very hush-hush abortion (it would have been the early 70's and her family was Catholic). Since I am an only child, I hate the argument “what if your mother had aborted you?” First of all, I wouldn’t know the difference?? Second, if my mother had not had that abortion, I may

In my parent’s house, there are framed photos of two very sad women. One is my great grandmother, who stopped speaking for 2 years when her daughter died after falling down a well. The other is my great great aunt, who died of a botched abortion when she was 17. It’s never been a family secret or a morality tale, just

Craft thread!

As emotionally rolling it was beating myself up for getting pregnant in the first place, the decision to abort remains the single most responsible and well made decision I have ever made. If I hadn’t done it I’d be forever tied to an abusive felon who would’ve ruined my life and that of the baby we would’ve had. And

No fucking shit.

I feel like if any politician cites religion as influencing any decision in policy making they should immediately be disqualified to vote on or create said policies. Research and facts, science, let’s stick to that please.

I think a lot of women, especially those who were praised for their brains instead of their looks put tremendous pressure on themselves to be high achieving and successful. It becomes a big part of their self worth and when it starts spiraling out of control they are completely unprepared to handle it.

Reading the first paragraph, where Christine asks a friend if the friend has noticed that “I nod a little too sympathetically” and the woman says “no,” indicating that “this is all in her head,” gave me chills.

lolololololololololol

“There is a particular pain that black women feel that I don’t think black men understand and it’s a pain that comes from feeling like we do a lot of labor that we are not emotionally compensated for, or publicly compensated for or appreciated for.”

Let’s not leave out that he hired a PI to tail her and handed out her photo on campus. Getting people to yell “White girl cries rape!”
