I don't regularly calculate my net worth, but [mint.com] does it for me. Before mint, I used yodlee to do it. It works. I've gone from a negative net worth to a substantial positive one (over $20k, including equity in a house) in 3 years. #personalfinance
@SanchayaAssaracus: I have to agree with reddit and Sanchaya on this. If you are using a free service that is supported by ads, it is unethical to block the ads.
@Mighty72:
@dagwud: Brilliant!
@tablespork: I second this. I switched from US Bank to Charles Schwab a few months ago. Best checking account EVAR.
@FarleyNewt: Yeah, the title was of the garden path variety for me too... Fitting, I suppose.
@Marius: I play board games with friends 2 to 5 nights out of a week. I like quite a bit of variety, especially on any given night I might have between 3 and 20 players, might be sober or wasted, and might have to accommodate people who don't like complex rules.
@UnMicD: I have a particular rule I tend to defer to when determining how much luck should be present in a game. Namely, the amount that luck should influence the winner of a game should be inversely related to the length of the game. I don't mind a beer & pretzels game that might be 90% luck-based so long as it…
@ungood: I forgot to add, 5) Ticket to Ride. There are several versions of this game, all with slight rules variations. All are good for the casual gamer, but I'd recommend the plain vanilla version.
Dear god, anything but Monopoly. In fact, ignore the entire board game section at big box stores like Wal-Mart (Except for Apples to Apples and Scrabble, those are good games).
I made a Yip Yip martian from Sesame Street last night.
I have used every one of those services except Wasabe, and Mint wins hands down.
@Joseph: Instead of just Fear, Fear, Fear! do you have any pratical advice for these two?

If I ever travel with a laptop (or now my iphone) I plan on making an image of the harddrive, encrypting it, and carrying the image on a separate drive.
I've had luck with a variation of Scott Adam's Happiness Formula ([dilbertblog.typepad.com]) - which is basically just setting priorities. I'm a very logic-driven person, and going through the motions of trying to create a weighted formula to describe my priorities in life derives some value for me.
I've tried every option in the poll... and a few others to boot, and I have to say for the most bang for my time, Mint wins.
