The most I’ve been able to unearth about this movie supposedly being “controversial, to say the least” was an actor from Mean Girls who used the movie to express his frustration at not being cast in things. So... can you maybe say more?

It wouldn’t be in my top 10, but my hot take is that Forrest Gump is a good movie, and is much darker than people remember. Also, I think some of the criticism of the Mom and Jenny characters reveals A LOT about the people doing the criticism.

two things, 1. i think it’s worth acknowledging that i’d be more annoyed about performance issues had i paid $60 and not received a review copy 2. things should be expensive to compensate workers well and fairly, but most of a video games’ $60 is not going to the people that made it (as far as i know).

This was the first of his shows I didn’t love. Maybe just a different target audience though.

Weird. I would not have pegged that as a multi-season series. Any cliffhanger-y type stuff just seemed like typical horror “ooh this isn’t actually over” late-story stinger type stuff. 

Signalis caught my eye too, for the old-school horror and Nihei vibes I’m getting off it.
