The most I’ve been able to unearth about this movie supposedly being “controversial, to say the least” was an actor from Mean Girls who used the movie to express his frustration at not being cast in things. So... can you maybe say more?

How dare he give such a reasonable, non-inflammatory response! The nerve! Doesn’t he know there are clicks that need baiting?!
Summary of the post:
And i thought I was awesome for being a librarian and helping kids grow a lifelong love of learning.
Parasocial relationships are - and remain - deeply unhealthy and weird.
How many people at Kotaku are on the Amouranth news team?
The only acceptable replacement, of course, would have been David Cross.

Thank you, once again, to the AV Club for telling me just what and how I should feel about everything.
Look at me with a straight face and tell me Pan’s Labyrinth isn’t good.
It wouldn’t be in my top 10, but my hot take is that Forrest Gump is a good movie, and is much darker than people remember. Also, I think some of the criticism of the Mom and Jenny characters reveals A LOT about the people doing the criticism.
two things, 1. i think it’s worth acknowledging that i’d be more annoyed about performance issues had i paid $60 and not received a review copy 2. things should be expensive to compensate workers well and fairly, but most of a video games’ $60 is not going to the people that made it (as far as i know).
i’d love to see…
This was the first of his shows I didn’t love. Maybe just a different target audience though.
Weird. I would not have pegged that as a multi-season series. Any cliffhanger-y type stuff just seemed like typical horror “ooh this isn’t actually over” late-story stinger type stuff.
Signalis caught my eye too, for the old-school horror and Nihei vibes I’m getting off it.

You either die a journalist, or work long enough for the AVClub to see yourself stripping interviews for clickbait.
It’s almost as though this quote was stripped from an interview and presented in a context-free format inviting knee-jerk reactions.
You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the subject of a shitty thinkpiece/"news" article about whether the MCU is art.
