Some goon just put a y-axis value in the "location" section of that function and BAM falling cars.

there's something relieving about a studio that doesn't take itself too seriously.
nothing is contradicting their belief except that their system is imperfect.
I forget honestly. I don't think it does anymore after a lot of backlash.
fair argument. So if this was just a microsoft thing that said "Our entire library is yours for 40 a year" Then it'd be acceptable? (I'm using MS as a larger encompassing entity for all publishers on xbone)
True, although I think at a certain value-point it's worth it. Look at netflix, you don't own ANYTHING you stream from them but it's considered one of the most successful and well liked businesses out there. I can't name anyone that can complain about Netflix and what they're doing.
Eh, I don't think EA has a large enough game/customer base on the xbone to damage the used games market.
am I wrong or does this seem like an OK idea? I like EA games, I like fairly cheap services... why would I not get this if I'd like to try out some Xbone titles?
Like other games purchased digitally through the Xbox Games Store, once you have downloaded the game to your hard drive, you can play offline as much as you'd like.
their player is the only thing that mutes AFAIK so exporting to youtube only carries youtube's rules such as pre-roll ads and country restriction
Seriously, shift+click - right click - set category
Yeah, but it would take me like an hour to hide all my useless games.
The good news is that music is only muted on VoDs and they can be exported to youtube without the muting. So it's not like plays are lost.
this whole thing has been messy, and I don't like how they threw it on us suddenly but at least he stood in front of the whole internet and said "We made this choice, we're sticking with it. We'll make it better."
Keeping halo exclusive is the only thing that the bone has that would draw me in right now.
the steam db is so unreliable though in regards to definitive. Halo 1 2 and 3 are listed but nobody knows the author and it's 4 months old, as in it hasn't been touched since it was made.

a lot of those connection issues are the games. Bf4 is a cunt about connections. I didn't have too much issue with something like Dead Space 3
It sucks being forced to have 2 gaming services installed, but the one people dislike (origin) is the least intrusive between the 2. It's also lightweight and appealing enough to get past its weaknesses (mediocre sales, smaller selection) and use it out of necessity.
I don't get this origin hate anymore. the original worry is that it would be bloated and useless and unusable. Instead it's at least average and not very intrusive.
