So I will throw in here that that Steam post from the tweet in the article is almost certainly parody and not genuine, though it is mocking genuine arguments that are present on the Steam Forums they seem to have witnessed.

They lost them after the gay utopia episode. Their vision of Ron Swanson as a capitalist-loving, uber-straight man was shattered and they have no idea how to pick up the pieces.

Now playing

I wonder what he thinks of speed runners elevating alternative sexual archetypes, in the Petersonian sense.

You’re just playin’ right?

We have screenshots of that tool with that name on the title bar of the application.. so you are objectively wrong. It is also ENTIRELY possible that whoever used the bonobo placeholder only knows that term as a piece of software they use leftover from the Bungie years and not as a type of ape. I didn’t know that

“I’m trolling you!

I’ve had a weekly online game night with a friend since shortly after COVID started, and we’ve been on Escape Simulator for a couple months now. Even after finishing the official content, the user-created rooms have been sustaining us for over a months now. They’re not as consistent as the ones made by the game devs,

Interestng. Never heard of this before, but looks fun! Thanks for shining a spotlight on this. Also looks like my aging laptop can probably run it!

Going off the headline I thought you meant this one:

I do wish they'd go back to their tactical roots, but its ubisoft so I'm highly doubtful.

I mean, I appreciate the thought behind Portal but there are hardly any players even in the main modes atm. Recently you can sit on the loading screen for 30+ min because they refuse to launch the game unless it has x players even though they fill the rest in with bots. I was trying to be supportive up until I read

For anyone that hasn’t tried it, Titanfall2 has a really good single player campaign and the best single ‘level/mission’ I’ve played in a very long time.

Right? If I need to take a break I die or fast travel. ER is very forgiving compared to other souls games.

On the one hand, I get it. Stupid names being dragged out for doing stupid things. It makes any serious discussion on serious topic seem cartoonish.

Brands should probably just periodically tweet “It’s not NFTs”, unprompted, to be safe.

It’s basically Adopt a Highway. Roughly speaking, you get your name on cryptographic proof (the analog would be a plaque) that you’re the only owner of a specific URL that points to a server that serves up some kind of resource: typically an image or in this case a sound

Nobody asked for Infinite’s multiplayer to be F2P. We’d all much rather pay $60 for a full game and have some good cosmetics that are either available from the start or unlocked in simple ways like past games.

They should have the boosts last a set amount of matches rather than a set time limit. Unless the timer for the boosts only runs while in an actual match which I doubt.

This reminds of that recurring guy in Community, who basically rented out his identity to Subway and Honda. Jake From State Farm is now that actor’s legal name, a la Jennifer Government.
