With what we keep learning about Harvard (despite knowing about what they’re truly interested in, anecdotally, for decades) - I would say that Kushner got into Harvard on exactly the merits Harvard is interested in.

The check cleared.  That’s the only merit that mattered.

Merit for getting into an ivy league is money and/or power. It was no mistake he got in.
