I went to a high school around there (and by around there, I really mean the West Michigan area) and this doesn't surprise me at all. I ended up becoming friends my senior year with a wonderful girl who happened to have had a baby in her junior year, and I was appalled to find out she'd been kicked out the color guard

He was on Graham Norton? With Benedict Cumberbatch? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS SOONER? Seriously. My day just got a whole lot better.

That Lickitung with Fun Dip is super clever. Seriously, if you asked me an hour ago what Pokemon I'd want a picture of on my wall, there would've been no chance that I'd say Lickitung, but now....

Okay, I see a lot of people saying that they wouldn't be protected by fair use because they sold the game and made money off it. My question is: isn't fair use what protects internet reviewers or LPers (is that a word, I don't think it's a word) despite the fact that many of them are basically making a living off

I did know it was fairly popular in the UK (although, to the extent that they STILL bring it up when talking about law enforcement — no, I didn't know that, six years since the finale and all that), but I guess I'm really just talking about in the US. Even among some people who are self-professed "Hardcore BBC Drama

It's funny you say that because whenever I declare my adoration for Life on Mars, if I don't just get blank stares, someone always goes, "Yeah, but wasn't Ashes to Ashes so much better?"

Really? I only got into it a year or two ago, and I am from the US, so maybe I just don't run with the right people, but very few people I know talk about it, or if they do, they just say how much Ashes to Ashes is better. It makes me a sad, sad person.

Life on Mars (the BBC version)!
