This is one of the stranger deployments of whataboutism that I’ve ever encountered. The President is “following in the footsteps” of a member of the House of Representatives? The fact that he doesn’t know what’s in his own budget is somehow related to Nancy Pelosi? Can you expand on what the point you are trying to

If you get to the point in your life where you dislike the Special Olympics and feel as though they should be defunded, you need to take a personal inventory because you’ve become a truly bad person.

You’re absolutely right. It’s such a miniscule part of the budget it’s very obvious that they are just doing it to be mean. The US federal government spending $17 Million is like you or I dropping a penny.

Can we just launch this fucking ghoul in to the sun already?

This is definitely the best Lil Kim take I have ever read.

Or, and bear with me here, maybe we could let people live their lives as they choose to and not stone anyone. I know it’s a radical idea but it just might work.

Thanks for sharing.

Minute Rice is not rice. Not sure what it actually is, but rice it is not.

What are the advantages of having a rice cooker as opposed to just making it on the stove in a pot? Honest question. I eat rice very often but I’ve never considered buying a special appliance to make it.

Gardner is gritty and shows hustle, and hass a high baseball IQ. Herrera is very athletic but also lazy and not very gritty at all.

Looking at those numbers, he is kind of the antithesis of Gardner. As a Phillies fan, that’s a good thing.

They could still probably somehow beat the Knicks.

I feel like planes and trains both generally arrive where they are supposed to arrive most of the time.

I take the NE regional all the time. I always bring beer with me. I have never once had a problem with it. I don’t hide it either. I’ve been talking to a conductor while simultaneously taking a beer out of my bag and they didn’t bat an eye. Maybe it’s illegal, but the Amtrak employees sure seem to not give a single

Sometimes while driving on the Interstate Highways, I feel like that is the case. Semis fucking everywhere.

The NE regional rail is a great way to get up and down the east coast. Taking a 26 hour train ride from Detroit to wherever the author went would not be something I’d be willing to do. The NE regional takes basically the same amount of time as driving the same distance.

Because in comparison to European countries, the US is fucking gigantic.

That plane is gonna be flying whether I’m on it or not.

I frequently take the NE regional from Philadelphia to Westerly RI(about an hour south of Boston) and I always have a good experience. Takes about as long as driving does, but I can sit in my seat, listen to a few podcasts and drink the beers I brought on board with me(fuck paying $8 for a beer).

Rail is way better in most European countries. The reason is that they are the size of medium sized US states. Having affordable high speed rail in the US is a considerably larger challenge.
