There are almost twice as many people in Columbus Ohio than there are in Wyoming. Wyoming has disproportionate representation and that is a problem.

So your vote in Wyoming means much more than a vote in Queens NY. That’s a problem.

My point is that the process right now is tilted to the advantage of flyover country. If we’re going to put our finger on the scale, I’d rather it be towards progress and not towards the 17th century puritan ideals of a bunch of uneducated racist hatemongers. 

Warrant was part of the second tier along with acts like Big Red and Cinderella. They were deeply awful but nowhere near as ubiquitous as acts like Motley Crue and Poison.

Poison was the worst to me but Motley Crue was a close second. Def Leppard wasn’t even in the same stratosphere of terribleness, although they were terrible. 

The people outside of those 146 counties continuously vote against the best interest of the country. We can’t move forward because Gomer in Mississippi doesn’t think that people deserve equal rights or that women are people. So, fuck ‘em. There’s a reason that people choose to live in those 146 counties. 

That’s just so fucking sad. Just goes to show that the pain from gun violence lasts far longer than the actual event. I feel so bad for that girl, and her friends and family. 

This conversation has been going on since way before Trump got elected. I can’t remember an election in my lifetime(I am not young) that this debate was not raised. 

How so? One person one vote. My vote in Philadelphia counts the same as someone else’s who lives in Wyoming. As it stands now, that is not the case. 

It’s basically impossible for a Democrat to lose the popular vote but win the electoral college. That’s one of the many problems with the system. 

Or we could just ditch it and go by the popular vote. 

Because there are more people that aren’t in rural areas. Rural people should not have disproportionate representation the way they do now. Check out the map that The Dreaded Rear Admiral posted above.
