Oh and the real crazy ones are also calling this a false flag attack in order to steal NZ’s guns, which obviously will then mean that guns get taken away in the US. I’m sure they think Hillary was behind it somehow.

They’re already freaking out about this even though these laws are affecting a country on the other side of the world, who’s citizens overwhelmingly support it.

Agreed. If you are constantly being asked if you are a White Supremacist, you’re probably a white supremacist.

The only people I’ve seen complain about this are gun nuts in the US. That’s how crazy they are, even other countries gun laws make them angry.

Sadly, it is unlikely that there are the votes to override it.

I think he’s referring to the completely relevant sloppy drunken guy in a santa suit that got snowballs thrown at him 50 years ago.

He has a right foot contusion and according to Gabe Kapler, they have no reason for concern.

Yeah. I’m not a huge history buff either but I’m pretty sure that shit took place over a thousand years ago.

Because radicalized adherents of Judaism aren’t carrying out worldwide terrorist attacks the way Muslims and right wing christians are

I absolutely did not condone this abhorrent act by this white supremacist piece of shit. I do not condone islamophobia. I believe that the vast vast majority of Muslims are good people. The article I am responding to is about the acceptability of hating muslims. While I do not think hating someone for their religion

I mean, The Crusades were quite awhile ago.

I frequently talk about the evils of the Israeli government. They do fucked up shit for sure. They don’t fund and support worldwide terrorism though.

I don’t think it’s crazy to say that Islam has a disproportionate amount of bad actors. I mean, Saudi Arabia exists. Salman Rushdie had to go in to hiding because there was a state sponsored death warrant on his head because he wrote a book critical of Islam. I think there is middle ground between outright

I mean, I mostly agree with you, but to say that the reputation of Muslims isn’t at least partly earned is just disingenuous. Saudi Arabia is a problem. Muslim extremists are a problem. Not any more than extremists of any stripe but the extremist Muslims have done a pretty good job of getting attention.

Sometimes a policy is just stupid. This is one of those times. I don’t care what the reason for it is. If it had some compelling reason, I imagine this policy would be pretty common, but having eaten in thousands of restaurants of all types, I have never encountered this policy.

I have no idea. Not my policy. It’s a stupid policy. And the people that get upset about someone else taking a photo of their meal really need to get a fucking life. If it makes someone happy to take a photo of their food, why would anyone care? People need to stop trying to police everyone and everything.

Can you please provide me with a list of things that is ok to photograph? You seem to be an authority on the subject.

I’m not arguing that it’s not the restaurant’s right to have and enforce such a policy. I’m saying that it’s a stupid policy and people that get bent out of shape by people taking pictures are also stupid.

Correction: Dusters are badass. Just ask Mac or Dennis.
