Over under on how many times Lesser’s opponent has referred to him as a “Globalist”?

It doesn’t matter because Congress isn’t in session and there is no bill written anyway. They have no intention of any kind of middle class tax cut.

Exactly. So many people here wanting to be the Halloween Police.

This is one of the few very valid reasons I’ve heard for not handing out candy. Hopefully you guys feel better soon and get back to making people smile next year.

I’m sure doing that has filled you with so much joy. Congrats for being a miserable fuck.

No. No it would not. Wonder no more my sweet banana.

When someone turns their porch light out they are done. When everyone turns their porch lights out, it’s over. It’s not all that complicated.

One year I had a bucket of sodas and juice boxes for kids and a bucket of beers and mike’s hard lemonades for the adults. We had a great time with it. Kids get thirsty between the walking and all the sweets and drinks aren’t always available. The adults enjoyed the drink and were happy to have a treat for themselves.

You sound absolutely miserable. Have you ever tried, I dunno, not being miserable?

It’s really bizarre to me how strongly people feel about who is worthy of their precious fun sized milky way bar. If someone comes to your door trick or treating, give them candy and move on with your life. If you can’t do that, keep your light off and be miserable by yourself.

If they have no costume ask them to tell you a joke or a short scary story. Some of those kids don’t have costumes because they can’t afford them.

Anyone that knocks on my door and says trick or treat gets candy, until I run out. We don’t need Halloween policing. It’s been just fine forever. If you want to trick or treat and it happens to be Halloween and an appropriate time, it’s ok to trick or treat.

I live in an area with a lot of underprivileged children. Some of them go trick or treating with their friends despite them not being able to afford a costume. Most try to do something. I still give them candy. They’re kids and it’s Halloween. 100% of the people that come to my door on Halloween get candy. Life is too

I live in a very economically diverse area(Philadelphia) and some of the kids would love to “put in effort” to their costume, but many times they are on their own because the parents either can’t or won’t provide them with costumes. If I see a kid not in costume with a group of friends that are in costume, I tend to

I have four kids, three of which are old enough to not believe in Santa or the Easter Bunny. But I will say that kids tend to hold on to these beliefs even if they know them not to be true. They don’t want to miss out on all the fun associated with it. Kids, like adults, are able to suspend their disbelief in pursuit

Good thing you took away that bit of fun for her then! Way to go!

Literally anyone who wants to put on a costume and go trick or treating should be able to.

I call it the “parent tax”.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, who is willing to put on a costume and go trick or treating can expect candy from me. Kids get aged out of it anyway when their friends start to consider it “uncool” or when there are things like parties and the like to go to. But who the fuck cares if a 16 or 17 year old wants to trick or
