Holy bejesus she’s done a lot of great directing since TWD. And while I haven’t seen the stuff she did on network tv, I didn’t realize the sheer breadth of amazing cable tv she’s directed. Justified? Pose? The Americans? The goddamn SHIELD? (And The Shield was done before TWD, so that easily should’ve been a reminder

“We’re surrounded by criminals, there’s no bed, and you can hear the faint sound of someone screaming through all the vents.”
“That’s Hitchcock. His arm’s stuck in a pneumatic tube. It’s hilarious.”

And yet if we’re familiar with an NFL ref’s name, it’s likely because we’re fascinated by his Carl Weather’s in the 80's level jacked up biceps.

The funny thing is that I fucking loved Tales from the Borderlands - it was honestly one of my favorite game stories of the decade. I’d have a tough time specifically putting it in my top 10 favorite games ever, but I’d absolutely put it in my top 10 favorite game experiences ever.
It’s a perfect reminder that when

    Jesus Christ.

Fingers crossed for a DLC with even more timely (and not at all painfully forced) references:
Perhaps a Budweiser “WAAASSUP!”, or even a Geico Caveman?

Fuck it - they should go for broke and throw in “Yo Quiero Taco Bell”!

    Yes, he is dabbing

And he’s like, “No I didn’t use the word sodomy.” And then there’s this sort of thing, I think, where they’re wondering whether Paterno actually knew what the word sodomy was [laughing].

Is Byleth a videogame version of Dennis Reynolds?

    Yes.

How/ where did you get these? I’ve been looking around online and I can’t find them anywhere in stock.

And good luck to you if you try to put the Switch into the dock with these attached.

FFVII Remake comes out on March 3, 2020

Considering the whole time this was happening there was an actual documentary crew following everyone around and filming as much as possible, that makes the comparison even more fitting.

One of the best endings of a movie, ever, and one that I love to figuratively apply to almost any situation in life.

    Jesus fuckin’ Christ.

Everything written in the post is 100% accurate, well-written, and all of that - but for now, my only real thought for the moment is how amazing that video is, and how absolutely heartbroken I am at thinking of all the missed opportunities where I could’ve played that video.

It is a goddamn work of art, and my day is

I mean, it works that way in baseball, doesn’t it? As a lifelong O’s fan, I’ve watched them absolutely drown in that titanic-sized disaster of a Chris Davis contract - 7 years, 161 million, fully guaranteed. If it doesn’t end up as the worst contract in American sports history, it’ll very likely be a contender for

So far I’ve been playing it 90% portable, and I’ve had no complaints. It’s nice quite as purdy as it is docked, with the dynamic resolution and lessened AA, and all that stuff. Even with less AA portable, it still looks great overall on the 720p screen, and for me at least, framerate has been consistent, even on

I totally missed the “orders” tab until my fifth file, as well. Went from not having enough stuff to a deluge of it.

Another tip I would offer is that whenever you’re in a battle and you get a prompt where every slows down an your weapon lights up (is that a sync attack? Jesus there is a lot to remember in this game),

If this baseball game were somehow an episode of Curb, then Manny Gonzalez would absolutely be a gesture rescinding motherfucker.

Another thing to keep in mind about Babe Ruth - not only is there obviously the fact that all non-while players weren’t allowed to play in mlb during his time... but also that Babe Ruth isn’t exactly the most athletic athlete of all time... to say the least.

He had absolutely horrible form and swing compared to today’s
