There is a brief sene of Andy getting a Rita Hayworth poster, but in the end the tunnel is behind a Racquel Welch poster.

We’re both right — in the movie Andy gets a Rita Hayworth poster early on, but in the climatic scene, his tunnel his hiding behind a poster of Racquel Welch from the movie 10,000 BC.

Where’s the mention of her poster in The Shawshank Redemption? Tragically, I suppose, that’s where most people these days know her from.

In my book, also worth considering:

I liked this ep overall, but afterwards I was struck with the “I hope someone got fired for that blunder” thought: how did Katinsky and Alex get to the airport *before* “Leo” without him seeing them, with enough time to start putting together a bomb— how may routes are there from their house to that airport in a small

Totally. Kudos to the casting dept for finding

I’ve hit up so many Best of 2022 lists in the past couple days and have yet to see one that includes Ozark S4.  Y’all sukkas got short memories- the first part of S4 dropped in January, the second part dropped in April.

Kinda surprised that of the 5 most surprising things listed here, one of them is not “that bear CGI still needs some work, maybe they can fix it up a bit like Sonic The Hedgehog.” I’m looking a this pretty-not-great CGI, kinda longing for an actor in a suit, and thinking in my Bernie-Feldstein-In-Ladibird-Voice “IT

On a lot of streaming shows -- I’m thinking of Handmaid’s Tales specifically but I’ve noticed it in others-- I feel like there is a Background Track that has music cues and sound effects and a Dialoge Track that should be dominant, but they’ve neglected to click the button that sets them that way it is should be  so

The last slide, thankfully, came through with the info I needed.  Had me worried there for a few.

This is great. For me, it’s missing DC’s “Say My Name” -- the liner notes specifically credit her with the song’s vocal arrangements , which are fantastic. There’s no verses for the other women in the group, this is a Beyonce solo song in all but name.

Have to admit, it’s kinda odd to see Magnolia here, or at least so highly ranked. I feel like it is a “great movie that Tom Cruise is in” but not “A Tom Cruise Movie.”

Good piece!

The way this trailer is cut makes it seem like we’re gonna see young Elvis get his performing gifts not just from one Magical Negro, but a whole Magical Negro Tent Revival. I get that Luhrmann’s films are flights of fantasy, but that’s just a wildly, wildly infuriating trope to be hitting the screen in 2022. Yikes.

“...Kenny Powers, Neal Gamby, and Jesse Gemstone were all essentially the same character...

Early in the episode, Tripp receives a list on her cubicle with names of people associated with the Clintons who died under suspicious circumstances....”

Now playing

Don’t forget - he also was the voice of the theme from Growing Pains—

Danielle not winning is one of reality competition’s greatest injustices, but also was a very typical Icarus lesson. It’s not like she was unaware of how a black woman would be perceived while being deceptive and then sassing the people she manipulated. Just a little bit of sugar in her only-in-the-confessional ‘tude

This movie has the honor of being one of two movies I’ve fallen asleep during while viewing it in the theatre. The other being Robert Altman’s “Kansas City.”

I loves me some Wonder Showzen!
