Reading through the comment thread this leads me to a hard-R reboot of Gilligan’s Island starring Karen Gillan and I say WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR?!?!

I guess I saw Snoke from TFA as this huge mystery- no one knew who he was or how he came to power. And then oops- dead. I was happy to see him go, and enjoyed that scene, but I will would’ve liked to have known where this dude came from.

Holdo is new to the top spot in the Resistance. She needed respect and authority more than she needed Poe’s okay or permission. He’s impulsive and aggressive. These are not great leadership traits and those traits kill lots of people in The Last Jedi. By not telling him, Holdo was asserting her leadership.
