I have really started to believe female gamers need to speak up more, despite the disgusting responses from some of the people out there lacking a moral compass. I am not saying the do not already but I think alot of them stay mum about being a gamer and I think thats a shame. Also side note A good portion of time

I would play the HELL out of a Rachel Morgan or Mercy Thompson game. Or even another Buffy game—I have the first two and I would really like a GOOD Buffy game.

Yeah, I think I'd pass on a current Anita Blake game. But I would play one from 10 years ago or so, and I'd love a Rachel Morgan game. Hell, I'd like to see a new Buffy game too.

Put me down for wanting Lady Shiva so she can show the boys how it's done.

Oh, I LOVED Tiffany, too!

Nerd solidarity! I *can* reformat your hard drive (*blows raspberry*), but I know plenty of nerds who couldn't ... big fuckin' deal. I do understand some of the frustration with people calling themselves "nerds" solely because they once saw a single episode of Star Trek: TOS. It is one of those things I have no idea

Totally agree with you on this. It's generally not considered "cool" to be really excited and earnest and passionate about things, so that's what tends to make high school "nerds" more vulnerable to being seen as unpopular or to being bullied. I mean, that's how I see it. And that enthusiasm and excitement and

Uh- I'm with Gemmabeta. Who makes you the arbiter of all nerdiness? Hi, I'm a nerd. I cannot format your hard drive(but I've been crocheting since high school. Ask me about my TARDIS pillow!); I do not read a lot of tights and flights comics(but I do read graphic novels); I don't play D&D(but I do play Magic the
