Interestingly, the color of your pipes does affect their heat emissions. Not out of the exit hole, but radiating from the pipe itself. Dark colors will expel more heat than light ones... which I didn’t actually believe until I lost a bet to my friend with an engineering degree.

“less than 60% humidity”... so in other words never if you live on the Gulf Coast

The day I fucked up my timing chain install with a big cam that exacerbated it. Luckily, it broke the valve off at idle. Cracked the head, and I have a new paper weight.

When my ex and I started dating, I had a 2006 Evo IX MR. He hated that car. He didn’t like the seats (too broad for the Recaros), didn’t like the look (too ricey), and he hated the attention it got me. He finally convinced me to sell it a few years into our relationship. Sure Tavarish did all the “work” but I accept full credit and responsibility for finding this car in the first place on my local Craigslist.

Nice ride. I still love these cars and it’s refreshing to see a stock one at this point.

You’re forgetting the most important change: The way better looking front bumper!

From my experience most people don’t mind the Enkei RPF1’s, I’ve never heard them called ugly, but there’s a first time for everything.

Haha, I originally was against getting this car but I needed something reliable to drive to and from school to replace my tired, worn out 533i. I’ve slowly modified it over the years with progressive modding frenzies. It’s been with me since ‘02 and I don’t plan to get rid of it for a long time.
