I don’t think it’s the fault of liberals overusing the claim of racism. Trump was elected because enough people wanted any kind of change. Other people keep insisting it’s about race. And if it is, that’s when our side needs to look at how many people we’re turning off. Conservatives don’t matter. It’s the left-center…

The accusations didn’t derail his campaign. Really, he was going to lose all along, though I guess you could say that hidden video where he was an elitist did it.

Ok, so if a man breaks into her house tonight and rapes her for 10 hours, tortures her, and then kills her, it’s half her fault. Gotcha.

He doesn’t have a voting record because he wasn’t a Congressman. So check out his record in Massachusetts and let me know what racist policies he enacted as governor.

But again, we have plenty of cases where the were done, and that hasn’t happened. Nor will it. Just because they’re conservatives doesn’t mean they’re brainless idiots who can’t handle having consistent beliefs.

Hate to break it to you, but I didn’t say you should sympathize with her. I said people shouldn’t start putting out personal information if the article doesn’t because it’s dangerous.

You’re making my point for me. You’re assuming you can call him a racist because of your personal prejudice against rich, white, men. That’s not a good look for someone decrying prejudice.

You’re hitting on the disconnect though. Even though people’s beliefs on race are a spectrum like everything else, there is only room for the most drastic views in our public debate.

You would think so. I don’t know of anyone who is doing them, and it seems like a no-brainer. How great a sales pitch is twice as much power for the same money?

Murders, rapists, and many other people are worse. It’s silly to pretend otherwise. Racism is a horrible societal problem, and murder being worse doesn’t change that.

Mitt Romney isn’t a racist. That’s the point. His father was revered in Michigan for his work as a civil rights lawyer, and the Romney family all but forced the Mormon’s into accepting black members in the 60's.

I wonder if that contributed to his breakdown later in the year. His pre-breakdown years are usually glossed over, but he was huge, as the gig at the WHCD shows. He gave up all kinds of money and a good career to follow his art.

So what if he decrees that?

What the media should be ashamed of, along with the people in the country, is how we judge airstrikes and wars by who ordered them instead of the circumstances. That’s entirely too important to be part of the political games we play.

Kind of makes you wish people hadn’t gone all in on calling Romney and every other major GOP candidate a racist before the real one showed up.

How do you do that? The vast majority of domestic calls are two people who each claim the other started it. So who goes to jail? How are the police supposed to uncover the history of people they just encountered if they haven’t been arrested?

Don’t do that. Men and women are both victims of domestic violence, and studies show both genders are equally likely to start physical violence. We need to do more for the women who are battered, but this is not a gender issue. We need to do more for the men who are abused as well.

The irony here is all of the people criticizing Jenner for a lack of empathy towards protesters are showing a complete lack of empathy towards her.

That’s not how it works. The machine is allowing her to jump on board and make some cash while they sell product. She does not tell the machine what it will produce. She gets a big trailer, people kissing her butt, and then she does what she was told to do.
