#1 Congratulations, you are smarter than the mailman. Half the dogs on the route can claim that as well.

#1. I know I’m being pedantic but this is not what I come to jalopnik for.

City government screwing over it own citizens? Never would of believed it, especially in New york.

Holy crap. A truck that was optimistically worth a grand 10 years ago is considered a good deal at over 8k now!

1960- this car HAS to look this cool. Damn the amount of engineering it takes to get there!

RHD XJs. Thousands of rural mail carriers depend on these to deliver the mail for millions of Americans and some of the rhd specific parts are discontinued, what little is available is astronomically priced for a mailmans paycheck.

No way in hell. The execution is clean but it’s a GRAND cherokee. Those 5 letters mean a hell of a lot to us jeep people, (Jeeple?) Adding those letters to the honorable cherokee name plate makes it a no dice crack pipe at any price. They mean that some where down the line it’s going to leave you stranded with a very

That early miata is nice, but the answer is truly XJ all the way, everyday.

Lets just scrap the whole dodge chrysler thing anyway, it’s all just a mess. What could possibly be more American than bringing back AMC?

Or politicians.

Did you know in other countries you have to go to college to be a cop? It seems like they think you should know the laws you are supposed to enforce, they may have even covered how to handle a crime scene.

Fuck yes dude. You understand. My family is the same way. I drive an xj because I’m a rural mail carrier and it’s the best tool for the job. Sure it gets poor mileage, but kjs don’t get any better on the route. My wife drives a 3 row escalade, (which probably gets better mileage than the equivalent suburban,) she has

I haven’t fact checked, but recently I’ve seen posted several times that the dogs are not very accurate, somewhere around 50%, like coin flip accurate.

We had a regular version of one of these when we first had kids. The one side door is annoying but it was a fantastic van. If you want a simple no nonsense throwback to a simpler time this is a great van to do it with. Normally I would say 3-4k would be top of the market, but anything goes today. I would rather pay

Or if you want Particularly evil look at the post office and carrier unions. Huge article lately about how the post office is literally stealing employee wages and the Union does nothing about it.

I had one of these, I bought it thinking high horse manual equipped caddi? Sign me up! Did not feel powerful at all and rode like crap. Sold it in under 6 months. ND.

Ive wanted a 57 since as far back as I remember, I took my remote control new bright 57 chevy to show and tell in kinder garden. Now as a 40 something x’er...boomers have made it to where I will never be able to afford on. Anybody who watches tri 5s knows this is a steal at this price for a no title no drive train

They done screwed up somewhere, at first glance I thought this was an article about the newest buick yawn-mobile.

How is jeep xj not at the top of this list!?

My wife’s pain in the ass escalade recommends premium, but I keep track of all our vehicles mileage on what type of fuel via the Gas Buddy app. The escalade actually gets worse mileage on 91 than 87; my xj will a eek out a tiny bit better on the 91 but not enough to justify the expense.
