Why aren’t you using the larger size filter on your xj? Small block ford filters fit and add capacity and filter media surface. I use the mobile one m1-301a filter and rotella in my 300k mail xj, it seems to like it.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Coasters definitely have a different set of problems than a large part of the USA.
