I had not been aware that this show was filmed in Toronto. The city council chambers do not make a very convincing Senate (yes I know the Capitol was destroyed and they're in temporary quarters, but still).

I couldn't figure out why Bad Janet's powers still worked in The 'Good' Place, but Good Janet said that her powers didn't work outside of her neighbourhood. Was that a hint?

Hey, 'member when Boyle was in love with Rosa, and it was getting to the creepy-obsession point, and then the writers let that plot go? I think sometimes good writing is as much about what you don't write. Otherwise we never would have had the foot massage sub-plot, which I thought was great.
