When it comes to reflectivity, Curved versus Faceted is a trade-off between getting 10% of the reflection over one wide arc or 100% of the reflection over several narrow arcs.

Lol your screen name was a funny coincidence

I have never seen more insanely fast driving around corners and over blind hills than in the Virgin Islands.

This is not something that you want to experience for the first time in, say, The Virgin Islands.

Volkswagen Engineer 1: Hey Hanz? What if we constructed some sort of chamber, put monkeys in it and then filled it full of poisonous gas?

It’s like the dot-com boom all over again. No business plan? No problem!

Parachute science is bullshit. I know cloth and string, but that ain’t science so I can trust it. Been practicing with my models:

I think he’s confusing the Flat Earth Society with the Flattened Upon Impact with the Earth Society.

Should be simple enough. They’ve already got a tube, and most model rocket engines have a charge at the end to eject the parachute. Just a little wadding and a decent enough chute should be fine. That said, need a way to drop the chute once you land or it’ll just be in the way.
