Glen on Glen & Friends Cooking seems to have figured it out. They posted a video this morning. Apparently the missing step is to separate the base of the garlic from the roots by cutting it first.

The way Chinese restaurants do it is by blanching in oil (deep fry), and then just cooking them normal. Wouldn’t be practical for at home though, with the cleanup and all...

Fah Bick Nah”? That’s how someone told me it was pronounced at least. Dunno for sure. I live a couple blocks from where they used to be but always seemed to end up at one of the million other pho places in the neighborhood.

As a Canadian, it makes me sad to see what our dairy cartel is doing to the costs of cheese here.

Also, does that sauce price seem high? $2 for like maybe 6 oz? By weight that’s more than double the cost of the cheese.

I miss this... and also the meatballs that have rolled out of my sandwich since they started using the new cut.

What proximity do you mean by “with”?

That’s not different though. Non meat products had already been trying to replicate the meat eating experience long before the current generation of beyond/impossible meat. Some had already been doing a better job than others, and now this is just yet another product doing it better than those.

Is a hotdog a sandwich?” has no caveats. Your viewpoint is saying that the question has to mean, “Does a hotdog meet the definition of a sandwich?”. I believe that is the most valid way of looking at it, but my viewpoint is that it’s not explicitly being asked in the original question.

I can’t tell for sure without knowing the logic behind their answer but, saying “It is it’s own thing” might not mean it’s not critical thinking. The usual argument has usually been the physical shape, placement of filling in relation to bread, ect. but I believe their answer could have come through critial thinking

It’s just so Microsoft can get to the Xbox One X, also abbreviated as the “X.B.O.X”

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think that’s what is happening. If they pick no winner, and use none of the entry designs for merchandise, they’ve only lost their spent marketing budget on this contest and gained nothing. Besides, 10k for this size of a company would be insignificant. They would have made

Half joking but, is this going to be one of those things that eventually “big ketchup” lobbies against to get non tomato based ketchups not legally called ketchup?

“Name something, you get back after giving something.”
“We’re going to go with ‘Karma’, Steve.
*Audience claps* “Good answer! Good answer!”
“’Karma’? Well alright. Show me karma!”
*Ding*

I suppose it’s time to buy some bigger cups.

Riot to block employees from walking out. Joking... I hope...

Maybe she’s doing motion capture lol.

Ahhh I see. So no slightly smaller auxiliary burgers.

Do A&W’s in America not have buddy burgers like we do in Canada?

Though I think a stroop McFlurry would taste good (and would definitely buy one if it were available in my area), I’m still of the belief that a stroopwaffel needs to be warmed up over the lip of a hot cup of tea.

I was having dinner with a friend from highschool a long time ago where we talked about this type of thing. It came up after I had ordered cola, but they had ordered juice. Having grown up in a household that rarely ever had soda, I was kind of confused as to why they’d want orange juice instead. Turns out they lived
